My favorite month of the year ... even though it's been sort of a lousy month, this year, hah! Ah, well...
July...
So ... the first issue of the second volume of Miranda Mercury is penciled. Getting inked and colored as I type.
Meanwhile? I'm pretty busy, but enjoying what I do. Thumbnailing the next issue of MM2, while also working on a children's book that I'm pretty excited about (if you take a look at my recent additions, you might get a clue just who the children's book features ;). Not only that, but I will be doing a short story for the Flash Gordon Annual that's coming in the fall ... which is a childhood dream. I've always been a huge, huge Flash Gordon fan, which probably won't surprise any Miranda Mercury readers out there...
Otherwise .
Wow! Spring..?
Been awhile.
Been busy, though, so that's good, right..?
Working on the second volume of MIRANDA MERCURY (yes, really ... look for BIG news on that front later this summer)...
Also drawing a creator-owned sci-fi horror miniseries with Joshua (Gears of War, The Other Dead) Ortega...
And I have a cool work for hire thing coming up that I'm pretty excited about...
Meanwhile, Viz's Free Comic Book Day offering features the first chapter of All You Need Is Kill, which I spent a big chunk of 2013 penciling and inking. Really looking forward to seeing what people think of that. The graphic novel is out the same week as FCBD, so check out the
Halloween...
So ... October. My favorite month of the year. Kind of a lousy month so far, but there's still time for October to get its act together, eh? :)
September...
So I just realized ... I have five Artist Proof Sketch Cards for that Batman: The Legend series I worked on awhile back. If anyone is interested in buying one or more, hit me up!!! First come, first serve :)
Meanwhile, working on an unannounced monthly superhero series, a creator-owned mini with Joshua Ortega, a creator-owned book of my own ... and MM2, with Brandon and Marc.
Sleeping ... never. But 2014 is shaping up to be a pretty nifty year, with all this stuff in the works, eh?
